How to win everyone’s confidence at work?
“Speak lie with confidence and people will trust you”, are the words of a popular writer and I do believe in these words. What matters today in this world is your attitude level and if the attitude of yours has confidence level, then this can take you to greater heights in your organization.
Ensure that you do not use following words while having conversation with your boss or colleagues as this shows lack of confidence:
- I will try….
This is the most used phrase all associates in the world and this expression puts impression that he will not give his cent percent in his task.
Rather use I can or I will do this task with my full level of energy and enthusiasm…
- I am not an expert in this but….
Notice the negativity that is expressed through these words, ‘I am not an expert’ means don’t trust me and ‘but’ adds more flavor to your lack of expertise in that sector.
This phrase is used when you do not find words and you do not want to go blank in front of the audience. The better way is to take pause while you are speaking. This will make your speech more plausible.

This word decreases the strength of your words and conveys the message that you do not want to take responsibility.
However, it was difficult for me also to get rid of these words but I practiced and now I sound more confident.

I know everyone is burdened with some extra work and there is not much time left for anyone to do others work.
But imagine instead of saying this is not my work, you say I can help you with your work and see how this magic works.
These are small things but they matter a lot when you are targeting to achieve a huge success in your career.
